With the hard skeleton, the paper is supported and protected while still exposed. Like most printmakers, I have a profound love of paper and would rather see it exposed rather than behind glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003eI spend summers in my garden, walking the trails of city parks, the beaches, and enjoying the city by foot. The walks are endlessly fascinating, I find all manner of odd natural and discarded, manufactured ephemera. Much of it I only photograph, some of it comes back to the studio with me and dries or decays. The seed heads and pods at the end of the growing season are some of my sustaining influences.
