Julie Paschkis is a Seattle based painter, textile designer and author and illustrator of many children's books. Most of her work tells stories and all of it is filled with pattern and color. Not caring much about the boundaries between high and low art, Julie finds equal joy in a painting for a greeting card, a children's book or fine art. According to Julie, good work is good in any genre.
