Mimosa Blossom Earrings

Mimosa Blossom Earrings

These earrings feature mimosa buds cast in sterling silver that hang from rings of square silver wire.

I planted a mimosa tree in my backyard because I was awed by its beautiful pink flower clusters. These trees are also called Persian silk trees for their thread-like petals. Once the tree started to bloom, I discovered that even its buds have unusual, striking textures that make them great fun for jewelry.

These earrings are incredibly comfortable and easy. They were the only earrings I took with me on a recent trip to Croatia, and I never removed them!

These earrings pair beautifully with the mimosa blossom necklace.
