Rubies and Rhodys Necklace with handmade chain
This striking statement necklace features a trio of Mozambique rubies, each prong-set on a sterling silver plate that’s been etched in a floral pattern. Three sterling silver leaves and three pods are cast from a pacific rhododendron. The chain itself is handmade with hinged and textured links and a cast leaf clasp. Pacific rhododendrons, also called coast rhododendrons, grow throughout the Pacific Northwest. You can find them in and around forests, where their soft pink flowers glow against the green understory. These rubies are the color of the wild buds right before they bloom.
