XL Platter - Salmon by Lynn Brunelle

Bainbridge Island author and artist, Lynn Brunelle explores joy and whimsy through traditional fused glass fabrication techniques as well as drawing with glass frit. Each of these one-of-a-kind ,whimsical plates is hand-crafted and twice-fired and is food and dishwasher safe.

“My design process is all about play and discovery. I love working with glass because you can take something sharp, cold and a little dangerous, add a little heat to unite separate pieces into one singular, entirely new, smooth fused piece.”

LYNN BRUNELLE is a four-time Emmy Award-winning writer for the television series Bill Nye the Science Guy, with over twenty years of writing experience. A former classroom science, English, and art teacher for kids K-12, she is a regular presenter of science and art projects in classrooms and schools.
