The Woodleigh Marx Hubbard Collection

Woodleigh Marx Hubbard is an international award-winning children's book author and illustrator whose works have been translated into several languages. She was born in Sharon, Connecticut and grew up surrounded by wild natural beauty in a town whose claim to fame was a rumored Abominable Snowman sighting. Needing more stimulation than this, her career as an artist began. Every one of her creative instructors, except for noted designer Tim Girvin, echoed the same refrain, “You have no talent. Give up.” Yet, working from her home on an island in the Puget Sound, she now has twenty published author-illustrated children’s books to her name, with more in the works.

Woodleigh's quirky line drawings are sure to add a smile to each face that passes it in your home.
