Ed’s rattles are delicately carved from Red and Yellow Cedar wood. When shaken they murmur softly with their contents. Rattles are traditionally used ceremonially for spiritual rituals to accompany singing, dancing and to keep rhythm.
His multifaceted approach to storytelling - whether through sculpture, printmaking, or jewellery - reflects his deep connection to both traditional and contemporary Indigenous narratives. Ed continues to be an influential figure in our Indigenous art world, using his art to tell the stories of his people, his land, and the transformative power of creativity to heal.
