The torso shape has an organic form, modeled by hand. I pinched the shape in clay and then made a mold to slip cast the vases. The white stripes are squeezed from a tube and add texture to this tactile object. I aim for a Scandinavian sensibility, simple, classy, elegant with a natural style.
One or two flowers are perfect in this desktop sized vase. They look great in clusters too.
