About the Artist:
Max Grover is an artist, illustrator, and art educator living in Port Townsend, WA. His works have been exhibited in galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest and California. He is the creator of many popular books for young children including The Accidental Zucchini, which received a Parents’ Choice Award. Max was one of the curators for Bainbridge Island Museum of Art's opening show "First Light: Regional Group Exhibition". He was featured in a solo exhibit at BIMA titled “Max Grover: Hunter, Gatherer, Painter,” and his work is in the BIMA Permanent Art Collection.
