About the Artist:

Pamela’s love of this island endures after 43 years and she wants to honor it with images of quiet contemplation.  Like planting trees before you die, she wishes to leave a legacy of the magical places here depicting the wonders of nature: the majestic trees, serene harbors and the habitat of creatures we seldom see, deer excepted which she sees almost every day!  Having come of age during the turbulence of the late 60’s, she made a conscious choice to portray through her art the beauty and hope that she finds in nature.  With a background as a commercial illustrator the last 24 years have been focused on creating fine art: oil painting and printmaking.
