The Max Grover Collection

Max Grover is an artist, illustrator, and gallery owner living in Port Townsend, WA. His artwork was featured in a solo exhibition at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art in 2014 and he has become a guest favorite in the Museum Store ever since.

He has been an artist since childhood and his works have been exhibited in galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest and California. He is the creator of many popular books for young children including The Accidental Zucchini, which received a Parents’ Choice Award. Grover is especially adept at using familiar and simple motifs, making them fun and whimsical. He is a favorite among the youngest generations. Max’s painting style is full of charm and inspires the young at heart. He draws from his collections of black cats, bolo ties, wrestlers, baseball memorabilia, souvenir pins, and much more.
