About the Artist:
I started designing jewelry, after I retired from being a petroleum engineer for 25 years. I took one beginning jewelry class at a junior college and was hooked! I've opened a small studio on Bainbridge Island just a ferry ride away from downtown Seattle. In my "workroom" I get to PLAY all I want! I travel quite a bit and find fun items to bring home and include in new designs. Erasers, pencils, bark mulch, kitchen tools, and toys are frequently used in my "fun designs". One design may be an Ethiopian opal with gold. The next design-a crayon. But it's always artful and bold!
