Winter in the PNW is all about clouds and rain. When summer rolls around we soak it up, and truly appreciate the long days; along with wild blackberries, swimming in sparkly bioluminescence and hot hikes in the mountains, where we can enjoy a view of the setting sun.

I'm an artist based on Bainbridge Island and work in several mediums. All of my work is inspired by nature—from oil painting to jewelry making to woodworking.

Working with metal is another expression of curiosity and artistic expression. I look for patterns in nature and try to imagine how I can recreate my sense of awe and express my obsession with patterns.
