Zia Gipson studied paper-making for several years and traveled extensively in Asia. She has exhibited her art at numerous museums including the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum, and New Bedford Art Museum. Her work has also been exhibited internationally including in South Korea and Greece. Images of her art has been featured in books such as "Pattern Base" and in magazine articles.
