This painting represents the power of collaboration and its ability to aid in personal growth. There is a sense of empowerment when we work together one-on-one, a learning style that cannot be replaced by any other form of learning. As an artist, I owe a lot of my accomplishments and style to the adventure of collaborating with others. In those moments of connecting, I learn my strengths and weaknesses. I also redefine my definition of success as an artist, realizing that the goal is not always to finish with an aesthetically beautiful painting, but rather to embrace the moment of creating something new with others.
