An original three color riso print, printed in blue, green, and florescent orange! The florescent orange is very hard to accurately capture, it is very bright and mixes with the blue to make a very beautiful purple. It is a standard size at 11” x 17” and printed on a thick ivory paper for a vintage look. This piece is from an original graphite drawing.
Riso prints are a bit unique in that misregistration can happen which is normal and makes each print a bit different (each color layer is printed separately). A good example of this is the raccoon image (the orange and blue are slightly off). Riso inks are not lightfast, prolonged exposure to direct sun will only bring sadness.
